My Thoughts:
This series (for the most part) was really good.
Tohru Honda is the main character. She lost her father when she was young and her mother later on. She lived with her grandparents until they were doing renovations on the house. She didn't have anywhere to go and didn't want her friends to worry, so she started living in a tent and working at a job to finish high school.
That is, until she accidentally stumbled into the Sohma family's house. She meets Shigure and Yuki (nicknamed "the prince" at school). After work that day, she goes home to her tent and Shigure and Yuki find her there. They invite her to stay at their house until the renovations finish. She is reluctant at first, but later agrees. Then she learns of their curse. Whenever someone of the Sohma family is hugged by a non-family member of the opposite gender, they turn into their zodiac animal.
Tohru hopes to break the curse after realizing she has feelings for Kyo Sohma, the cat, and Yuki's cousin.
This series was really good except for a couple volumes that got weird (the "why did you do that" kind and the inappropriate kind).
But overall, it was a very good series.
