My sister, Elf, wrote a Doctor Who article--"Is This Still The Doctor?", which talks about how Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor is very different than the previous Doctors, and why that isn't really good at all, because of how he really seems to not care very much about anything except Clara . . .
He regrets saving other people, and he doesn't seem to care if he or other people die as long as he can save Clara.
I didn't really like this season that much either--the previous season was much better, with both his personality and the stories of the episodes. Let's hope that the Christmas special and the next season will be much better than this season.
